- הָלָה(tradit. pronunc. הֲלָה) m. (cmp. הָלָא) that one there, this one; (mostly in legal proceedings) the person concerned. B. Mets.III, 2. Shebu.VI, 6, sq. וה׳ אומרוכ׳ and the defendant says B. Mets. 113b; a. v. fr. Eduy. IV, 9 ה׳ תצא fem., v. הַלָּז.Pl. הֲלָלוּ. Erub.54a ה׳ נוצצין וה׳וכ׳ these blossom and those fade.
